Wenliang Yan (1893 - 1990) was active/lived in China.  Wenliang Yan is known for Painting.

Wenliang Yan was born in Suzhuo, Jiangsu province.  

From 1928 to 1931, he studied in Ecole des Bezux Arts in Paris.  In 1922, he became founder and chancellor of Suzhou Art College.  Starting in 1952, he became the vice president, and professor of Zhejiang Art College.

Wenliang Yan was also a consultant of the Chinese Artists Association, and vice president of the Shanghai branch.  In 1929, he won an award at the French National Salon Show.  In 1984, he achieved a prize at the 6th National Art Exhibition.
